Paul Goater, Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Paul has responsibility for the overall strategic direction of Elateral. Paul also has a hands-on role in Sales, Marketing and major client relationships. Paul joined Elateral in June 1998 as the founding member of Elateral’s Sales and Marketing effort, and hence was responsible for setting the positioning and sales strategy for the company. Personally working with all the initial clients, Paul grew the Sales, Marketing and Client Services organization into the international team it is today.
Prior to joining Elateral, Paul was Regional Manager for UK, Nordics and Africa at American Power Conversion, a Rhode Island based computer peripherals manufacturer. While at APC Paul grew revenues for his region from $8m to $43m and managed a team that grew from 4 to 63 based in 6 countries. APC gave Paul first-hand experience of the challenges faced by marketers needing effective communications and marketing programs across diverse routes to markets and country needs.
Paul has 15 years of Sales, Marketing and Leadership experience in the Technology Sector. Paul is recognized as a leading Marketing on Demand expert and works closely with some of the world’s most notable brand obsessed organizations in transforming their marketing processes. He speaks at a number of leading marketing events.
Paul holds a Masters degree in Communication, Information and Electronic Engineering from Plymouth (UK) University. Paul is married with two children, and is a keen swimmer and guitar player.
Angus de Watteville – Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer
As CFO and COO, Angus has responsibility for the overall operational and finance functions at Elateral. Angus has a hands-on role in Finance, Large Client Projects, Partnerships and major client relationships.
Since joining Elateral in 1998, Angus has been instrumental in building the business from three employees to what it is today. He has played a key part in the company's growth from the early conception and development of the business model, through raising funding, to, more recently building a fast growing, cash positive and profitable business and securing Elateral’s biggest client relationship.
Angus is married with two children, and is a keen mountain biker and yachtsman.
Peter Blackburn – Chief Technical Officer
As CTO, Peter is responsible for the on-going development of Elateral MSC, R&D for new offerings, delivery of custom projects and infrastructure management. An Elateral founder, with over 15 years of professional software development experience, Peter has been instrumental in the creation and development of the Elateral product range. Peter also leads a growing development team employing the latest agile development methodologies with a passion for delivery and quality.
Before founding Elateral, Peter was a Development Manager at PhoneLink, an information services company, based in the North West of England. While with PhoneLink, the company grew from a new technology start-up with a staff of 12 to a 250 strong London Stock Exchange listed organization.
Peter holds a Joint Honors Degree in Computer Science and Electronics from Staffordshire University. Peter is married with two children and has a keen interest in music, film, and football.
Perry Kamel - Executive Director and President, Americas
Perry joins Elateral’s Board of Directors as Executive Director and President, Americas. His primary focus is on helping Elateral expand its US operations while serving Elateral’s growing roster of top-tier US-based clients.
Perry brings a wealth of experience and insight. Prior to joining Elateral, Perry was a founding Managing Director of Accenture Interactive, where he was considered a leader on the fusion of technology and marketing. Perry’s experience and vision around the impact of content atomisation across multiple digital channels made Elateral a natural choice. The addition of Perry to the Elateral Board further strengthens Elateral’s authority as a leader in global content enablement.
Perry has over twenty-four years experience delivering transformational performance improvement through advanced technologies and digital capabilities, allowing optimization of online and offline content for high profile companies. Prior to Accenture, Perry served as Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer for technology firms Ciena, Inc. and Siemens Information & Communication Networks, as well as a divisional CEO for Siemens Next Generation Carrier Networks. As a former board member of the National Telecommunications Association and a McKinsey & Company alumni with extensive experience in applied innovation, Perry is no stranger to working with cutting edge technology companies. As a recognized pioneer in multi-channel interactive marketing, he also has two highly-successful web technology and services start-ups to his credit.
Under Perry’s leadership, Elateral’s US operation is set on a stable foundation for growth in this evolving and expanding market.
Mark Schlief - Vice President Sales and Marketing, North America
Mark joined Elateral in October 2005 and is responsible for leading the expansion of Elateral’s brand presence in North America. He brings over 20 years of technology consulting and product experience to the team. For the past 8 years, Mark has focused exclusively on the development of channel marketing automation solutions. These solutions are designed to assist global enterprises address the challenges associated with providing effective channel communications in today’s global economy.
Since joining Elateral in 2005, Mark has led Elateral’s North American new account development and operations efforts for global leaders like Autodesk Inc, Georgia-Pacific, Iron Mountain, Motorola, New Balance, and Time Warner Cable.
Before joining Elateral, Mark held the position of Managing Director of OgilvyOne’s e-Marketing unit, where he was responsible for the development of Ogilvy’s channel marketing automation strategy and program solutions, servicing global clients such as American Express, Ameriprise Financial, IBM, and Motorola.
Mark is married with two children, and enjoys golf, sailing, and snow skiing.
Kim Temples – Vice President World Wide Client Services
Kim is responsible for growing Elateral's Client Services team and managing the company's relationships with its clients. Since joining Elateral in 2008, she has overseen global deployments and created a global Client Services team that collaborates across borders and is dedicated to our customer's needs.
Kim has over 20 years in professional services in both the marketing and consulting industries. Previously, Kim held the position of Partner within OgilvyOne's e-Marketing unit, where she was responsible for the management of global accounts with implementations in NA, EMEA, LATAM and APAC. She has also spent time consulting with large international companies to improve processes and leverage technology to ensure their investments delivered results.
Kim holds a degree in International Relations from Georgetown University. She is on the Associate Board of Gilda's Club Chicago, an organization that provides free programs and support to those living with cancer. Kim enjoys travel and playing golf.
